Artist Gerardo Rodríguez, originally from Puerto Rico, has lived in the south Austin area for ten years. Known for his weird-but-friendly monsters, trippy landscapes, crisp line work, and bold, even colors, his art is informed by his graphic design and film backgrounds and inspired by his childhood drawings. Gerardo likes to challenge himself by experimenting with new styles and creating new series of monster characters while maintaining the iconic monster look that he has become known and loved for around town!
